Nail Technician Program Description

Mosley School of Cosmetology has one of the largest nail programs in the region, teaching not only the basics, but also the latest in nail technology. Our program involves manicures, pedicures, artificial nail enhancements and various forms of nail art.

What You Will Learn

The course provides competency-based knowledge, scientific/ artistic principles, and hands-on fundamentals associated with the nail technician industry. The curriculum provides a simulated salon environment which enables students to develop manipulative skills.

Program Details

Course Hours & Tuition

  • Total Hours: 600 Total Hours

  • Nail Technician Program: . 2026 Price $11,300

  • Hybrid Nail Technician Program: 2026 Price $11,800

Full-Time

  • Hours: 35 hours per week required

  • Length of Classes: 5 months

Part-Time

  • Hours: 20 hours per week required

  • Length of Classes: 8 months

Dress Code

  • Black Mosley Shirt

  • Black pants or skirt

  • No sleeveless shirts

  • Totally enclosed black shoes, height is up to you

  • White smock and name tag (that are provided) must be worn at all times

Requirements & Grading System

  • 75-100 Satisfactory/Passing

  • 74 & below Unsatisfactory/Failing

  • All Mosley Cosmetology Students must pass with a minimum of 75% grade level.

Nail theory/practical training

  • Manicures/Pedicures

  • Sculpting acrylic

  • Nail art

  • Tips with overlay

  • Silk/fiberglass wraps

  • Artificial application/removal

  • Sanitation/safety precautions

  • Product/sales knowledge

  • Nail disorders

Acceptable payment methods are cash, check or money order.​
